PUPUSAS : A Salvadorian specialty! Large hand-made corn tortillas stuffed with cheese and other ingredients. A must-try when visiting us here at La Esperanza! Mix and match your ingredients in any combination (up to 1 ingredient $0.50 after each added ingredient). List of ingredients: beans, zucchini, chicken, chipilín, spinach, chicharrón (pork), chorizo, loroco, potato, jalapeño, ham and pineapple, and shrimp.

One of our oldest recipes, dated back to the time of ancient Mayans. Your choice of beef or chicken accompanied with chayote, carrots, potato, and string beans drowned in a pool of our THICK Guatemalan style salsa. Made of pepitas, tomato, and sesame seeds. Served with rice and a chipilín tamale.
